Boston Mobilization supports teen leadership in social justice work. Through education, organizing, and connecting across difference, our youth leaders move local communities toward justice.
Boston Mobilization is a small and dynamic social justice organization with a 40 year history of youth organizing and education. In the past several years we have worked in coalition to win campaigns supporting youth priorities in the state budget, reducing toxic diesel emissions and raising the minimum wage. The organization is in a strong place and is poised to grow over the next three years.
Boston Mobilization's primary programming for teens is the Sub/Urban Justice Program, which includes both school-year internships and intensive summer programs. Boston Mobilization also offers training and consulting to educate teens, young adults, and older adults on a wide variety of social justice issues such as youth power and adultism, racial justice and equity, class and wealth, heterosexism, community organizing and social change.
