US Senate Race in Maine
Sara Gideon for Maine is looking to add Field Organizers to our Organizing Department. This role is ideal for someone looking to break into campaigns, and will be part of the team responsible for recruiting volunteers, talking to voters, and more! This is a full-time position.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Recruit, train and manage a team of volunteers.
- Build and track relationships with local community leaders.
- Data entry, record and report results, meeting goals etc.
- Support other campaign operations as necessary.
- Willingness to travel.
Qualifications:
- Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to successfully relate to voters and volunteers from a wide range of backgrounds.
- Ability to work independently and in team settings.
- Ability to work long and irregular hours in a fast paced, metrics driven work environment.
- Basic computer literacy and database skills.
- Must have reliable access to a vehicle and a valid driver’s license.
- One year of campaign experience or community organizing experience preferred but not necessary.
- Knowledge of Votebuilder/VAN preferred but not necessary.
