WANTED: Canvassers for a Democratic campaign in Queens.
Canvassers go door to door talking to voters and are vital on campaigns as they are representative of the Candidate. Canvassers must be able to learn quick facts about the candidate, articulate a message, engage in dialogue about issues, and collect data. Applicants must have a cheerful attitude and be able to work nights and weekends. Ability to speak multiple languages is a plus. Canvassing has potential to earn a larger position on campaign.
SALARY/SCHEDULE: $15/hour, 4 hour work days with flexible days until mid-September.
