Through the coming election cycle you will primarily work on U.S. Senate, gubernatorial, non-profit, and public affairs campaigns in a dynamic and highly collaborative environment with periods of intense and exciting work.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Our clients are elite organizations who expect and deserve industry-leading results. As a Copywriter on the Trilogy Interactive strategic services team, you will be tasked with one primary responsibility: writing.
We want someone who can churn out clean, compelling copy for advocacy email campaigns, fundraising campaigns, social media posts, client memos, business development proposals, and everything in between.
We want someone with a vision for how to communicate bold ideas in the online space.
To accomplish that, our Copywriter needs to:
- Love writing
- Draft concise, engaging content for email campaigns, social media, advertising, and client memos on short deadlines
- Be a strategic thinker with a keen awareness of the larger political climate
- Explore new technology and strategic resources to find innovative ways to help our clients reach their campaign goals
- Ensure the client website content remains engaging, driving site visitors to perform high-value actions for the campaign
- Assist in promoting the Trilogy brand and record for thought leadership by writing occasional social copy and blog posts, as needed
You'll draw upon your writing expertise to deliver content to clients on time and within budgeted hours.
REQUIRED SKILLS
Ideal candidates will be college graduates with at least 1-2 years of professional political, nonprofit, or digital agency experience who are passionate about digital and committed to making a difference for our clients. Strong communications skills are a must.
You'll be expected to understand the basics of direct response marketing copywriting and to deliver superior results.
Familiarity with the following is helpful -- but having a demonstrated skill in high-volume writing is absolutely essential.
- Campaign, non-profit, or agency experience
- Direct experience with advocacy and/or fundraising email copywriting
- Experience writing for multiple "voices"
- Branding experience
- Experience with online advertising
- Social science survey and test design and interpretation
- Strong knowledge of the general political landscape and current political events
