Campaign Manager Job Description

Description:

Democratic candidate seeking talented, hard-working Campaign Manager to manage a large campaign in the Hudson Valley Region, NY.

The Campaign Manager is tasked with overseeing the campaign’s day-to-day operations, including the field program, scheduling, and political engagement, and with working with the campaign’s fundraising and general consultant team. Other duties may include:

· Working with the consultant team to ensure adherence to the campaign budget

· Overseeing field operations and volunteer recruitment

· Managing political engagement with local organizations, activists and elected officials

· Coordinating events and press activities with the assistance of the consultant team

· Supervising and recruiting campaign staff, interns and volunteers

Qualifications:

2-3 cycles of related campaign management or field director experience
Familiarity, and preferably direct experience with, the design and implementation of field programs
Detail oriented and proficient with the VAN
Working knowledge of NGP database preferred
Flexibility to work evenings and weekends
