The Minnesota DFL House Caucus is seeking a committed individual to run an aggressive and strategic field program that will be instrumental in winning back the DFL (Democratic-Farmer-Labor) majority in the Minnesota House of Representatives in 2018. Qualified candidates interested in serving as Field Director on a statewide legislative caucus campaign will create and execute the 2018 House Caucus field plan in partnership with House DFL Leadership. This would be a campaign position running through Election Day 2018.

 

The Caucus Field Director will be responsible for overseeing the 2018 field program. Duties include:

 

·       managing all aspects of the field program;

·       drafting and implementing the general field plan;

·       hiring, training and managing staff;

·       maintaining relationships with all partner organizations;

·       working with legislative candidates on field activities, as needed, and

·       any other campaign related tasks, as needed.

 

The Caucus Field Director will report to the Minnesota DFL House Caucus Campaign Director.

 

Qualifications:

 

Ideal candidate will be highly organized, highly motivated and capable of working in a demanding work environment.

 

Additionally, candidates should have:

·       commitment to electing DFLers to state government;

·       two campaign cycles of field experience;

·       at least one campaign cycle managing staff or equivalent experience;

·       experience with Get Out The Vote operations;

·       experience with VAN/VoteBuilder;

·       extensive experience with Excel, and

·       be willing to relocate to Saint Paul, MN.
