NOW HIRING: Deputy Engagement Director for Northeast United States Senate Campaign
Responsibilities
· Work with Engagement Director to implement statewide strategies
· Manage and coach Regional Engagement Directors and organizers
· Oversee regionals to implement an aggressive direct voter contact program, utilizing a wide array of digital and community organizing tactics and a pre-Primary caucus and convention strategy
· Work with Engagement Director to develop and implement training program for staff and volunteers
· Develop and implement strategies to ensure Engagement Program operates efficiently
· Work with other members of the engagement team to ensure all metrics and goals are met
· Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
· 3+ years of experience in campaign organizing, with a minimum of 1-2 years of experience managing paid staff. Experience managing managers preferred
· Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to relate to staff members and volunteers from diverse backgrounds.
· Good discretion and trustworthiness with critical campaign communications.
· Ability to be a team player with both other campaign staffers and allied organizations.
· Self-starter who shows strong initiative and sets high standards for individual and team performance
· Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills; a proven ability to effectively and independently manage projects with many moving parts to produce high-quality results on tight deadlines in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment
Compensation
· Deputy Engagement Director is paid at an annual rate of $60,000, or $5,000 a month. All campaign staff receive health care benefits.
