Competitive CA Congressional red-to-blue Race Seeks Call Time Manager

The Phil Arballo for Congress Campaign in CA-22 seeks Finance Assistant / Call Time Manager for the 2020 cycle. This position would be a great opportunity for a recent college graduate looking to begin a career in Democratic politics. 

Responsibilities

• Staff and manage candidate call time, prepare lists and donor research, and ensure databases are up to date.

• Organize and create timeline for upcoming events, draft invitations, thank you notes, and ensure they are sent in a timely fashion.

• Assist in planning finance trips and events.

• Assist with other elements of the campaign as needed.

The ideal candidate

• Has an interest and passion for Democratic politics and candidates.

• Self-starter who is able to manage their own schedule and daily tasks.

• Excellent interpersonal skills, including written and verbal communication.

• Able to work in a fast-paced political environment.

• Workplace maturity and professionalism.

• Strong attention to detail.

• Willingness to work long hours and weekends on a regular basis.

• Some level of campaign finance experience in local, state or federal campaigns is preferred but not required.

• Experience managing Call Time preferred but not required.

• Experience using NGP, Excel, and google sheets preferred,

Min Education:

• BA/BS/Undergraduate

This is a paid, full-time position. The applicant is expected to work a typical campaign schedule that can be long and inconsistent. The campaign is headquartered in Fresno, CA. Access to a laptop, a car and internet is required.
