Campaign Manager – Los Angeles City Council Special Election

 

Time period: February 2019 start date, Special Election is in June


Location: Southern California

 

 

Description:

Democratic candidate for City Council is seeking a Campaign Manager for a special election in June. Applicants should have 1-2 cycles of previous experience as a Campaign Manager or Campaign Coordinator, or some combination of Field Director, Finance Director, Political Director, or equivalent experience.

 

The Campaign Manager will be responsible for:

-Working with the consulting team to coordinate the campaign strategy and implement the campaign plan.

-Manage a campaign budget in the low to mid-six-figure range.

-Help draft campaign communications and manage the candidate’s schedule.

-Recruit and manage interns, volunteers, and additional campaign staff.

-Coordinate ballot access for the candidate and help oversee the voter contact program.

-Coordinate endorsement processes and draft questionnaires when necessary.

-Other duties and tasks will arise.

 

This is a full-time position located in the San Fernando Valley. Applicants must be local or willing to relocate. Hours will vary wildly (as with any campaign), but long days will be close to the norm.

 

Campaign Manager will be an at-will employee. Salary commensurate with experience.
