Responsibilities
- Staff and manage candidate call time, prepare lists and donor research, and ensure databases are up to date.
- Organize and create timeline for upcoming events, draft invitations, thank you notes, and ensure they are sent in a timely fashion.
- Assist in planning finance trips and events.
- Assist with other elements of the campaign as needed.
The ideal candidate
- Has an interest and passion for Democratic politics and candidates.
- Self-starter who is able to manage their own schedule and daily tasks.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including written and verbal communication.
- Able to work in a fast-paced political environment.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Willingness to work long hours and weekends on a regular basis.
- Some level of campaign finance experience in local, state or federal campaigns is preferred.
- Experience managing Call Time preferred.
- Experience using NGP, Excel, and google sheets.
Min Education:
This is a paid, full-time position. The applicant is expected to work a typical campaign schedule that can be long and inconsistent. The campaign is headquartered in the Central Valley of CA. Access to a laptop, a car and internet is required.
