Targeted Congressional Campaign Competitive Democratic Congressional Campaign in Upstate New York is looking for Field Organizers. We need hard-working Field Organizers to help build a strong grassroots organization to take on Republicans in November.
Responsibilities:
• Recruiting, training, and building teams of volunteers
• Managing volunteer phone banks and canvasses
• Implementing an aggressive voter contact strategy
• Coordinating with local activists and political leaders to grow our grassroots organization
• Building campaign events
• Responsible for data entry of information from voter contact
• Implementing an effective GOTV operation
• Other duties as assigned by the Field Director
Qualifications:
• Must have passion for electing Democrats to Congress
• Prior campaign/organizing experience preferred
• Self-starter with strong interpersonal and organizational skills
• Work well in both team and independent settings
• Ability to work long hours
• Experience with VAN preferred
