Congressional race in Long Island is seeking a full-time Finance Director through the November, 2020 general election. Candidate is a proven fundraiser with an existing donor network. Applicant must be local or willing to relocate. Salary will be commensurate with experience. 

Responsibilities:

• Build and execute campaign finance plan in conjunction with campaign manager

• Manage in-district and out-of-district fundraising events program 

• Manage fundraising call time including data capture and follow up

• Coordinate with campaign manager on low-dollar digital/email fundraising 

• Assist with donor relationship management; ensure delivery of thank you notes

• Hire and supervise finance interns  

Requirements/qualifications:

• 1 cycle as a Finance Assistant or Deputy Finance Director

• A “campaigner’s” mindset

• Knowledge of NGP, ActBlue, and Google Drive

• Excellent writing and communications skills

• Ability to stay organized and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting

• Ability to upwardly manage a principle and respond efficiently to requests

• Team player who is willing to step up wherever needed to get the job done
