Statewide Finance Director

QUALIFICATIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Serving under the Campaign Manager, the Statewide Finance Director will carry out an aggressive and "out of the box" fundraising  program that will be integral to the election of our candidate in both the March primary and the November general.

The ideal applicant will have a minimum of two years experience raising money for candidates, campaigns, or political organizations. They will have knowledge of NGP database and other donor-mining resources and fundraising programs. They must be high-energy, outgoing and enthusiastic. They must also have excellent written, verbal and internet communication skills.

The Statewide Finance Director will be expected to work seven-day work weeks, under often stressful conditions; a typical week is 70+ hours. Salary is commensurate with experience.

The Statewide Field Director will be responsible for:

·         Creating and implementing the Statewide Finance Plan.

·         Researching new donors for potential meetings and solicitation calls.

·         Assisting candidate during call time, including: preparation, follow-up and staffing.

·         Tracking contributions, including: maintaining donor database, outstanding pledges, "Thank You" notes, etc.

·         Planning and executing fundraising events.

·         Executing an aggressive small donor fundraising program, including: house parties, internet, and friends/family solicitations.

·         Assist in compliance duties, as necessary.

·         Providing a Weekly Progress Report to the Campaign Manager.
