Finance Director Position
The ideal candidate is a people-oriented, creative and experienced fundraiser who is motivated to join a grassroots statewide campaign. Ability to work well with a candidate, maintain a positive and outgoing attitude and be flexible are key to being successful in this position. A candidate with knowledge of Vermont’s political landscape and/or fundraising opportunities and challenges is preferred, but at minimum an ideal candidate should possess a willingness to learn and network with key influencers within the state to build an effective fundraising knowledge base. Must be able to work evenings and weekends as needed.
Must show strong proficiency and skills in developing and implementing a fundraising strategy, data management, people-to-people communication with individuals (ideally experience with donor cultivation), and working well with a candidate. Also, must be able to create and meet deadlines, manage the candidate’s call time and create fundraising events as needed.
