Finance Director - DCCC Frontline Congressional Campaign

Incumbent New Jersey Congressman is seeking a skilled Finance Director for a the 2019-2020 campaign cycle. This is a DCCC Frontline campaign, and is expected to be highly competitive.

Responsibilities

Management

• Work with candidate, Campaign Manager, and consultant team to set fundraising goals and develop a finance plan
• Manage a team of finance assistants, interns, and other junior staff
• Alongside the Campaign Manager, manage finance consultant team
• Prepare routine updates on overall fundraising performance
  
• Manage the compliance team and review FEC filings

Calltime

• Train and manage calltime assistants
• Develop and implement procedures and best practices for calltime, donor research, and data management
• Plan and organize calltime blocks in coordination with the scheduler
• On occasion, staff calltime personally

Events

• Work with hosts to build out high-dollar fundraisers, and build relationships with major donors
• Staff the candidate at events
• Occasionally travel to events in other states (e.g. Texas, California)

Qualifications

• At least one cycle of Finance Director experience, or multiple cycles as a Finance Assistant or equivalent position
• Thorough knowledge of NGP, ActBlue and other fundraising tools
  
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under tight deadlines
  
• Experience managing staff strongly preferred 
• Experience with event-driven fundraising programs a plus
• Ability to relocate to New Jersey
