The Campaign Leadership Institute is a team of political operatives who have worked on hundreds of races at the federal, state, and local levels supporting progressive candidates and causes. CLI’s mission is to train operatives for careers in party organizations, progressive advocacy groups, and organized labor. In addition, CLI works closely with these organizations to fill the staffing needs of their field campaigns as they launch and grow in scale.

Throughout 2018, our progressive allies across the country will be looking to hire campaign staff at every level, from canvass leaders to program managers. CLI will train and place our most qualified recruits in these positions as they become available. The staffers we are looking for possess the following attributes: 

• Willingness to travel across the country on short notice
• Commitment to the success of a campaign by working long hours every day to achieve goals
• Tech savvy capabilities such as proficiency in excel and quickly learning how to use modern campaign technologies
• Self-starter who takes the initiative without needing oversight
• Capable of problem solving in high-stress situations
• Ability to work with a diverse team of people with varying skill sets, skill levels, and backgrounds
