About Flip the West
Flip the West (formerly Flip the 14) is a Super PAC focused on field operations in swing districts. In 2018, we focused on flipping Republican-held Congressional seats in California, by providing political strategy and support to Resistance groups, and running volunteer engagement programs that included canvassing, texting, phonebanking, and postcarding.
Ultimately, we were responsible for over 1.5 million voter contacts to our target universe, which focused primarily on newly-registered and low-propensity Democrats, as well as Democrats who requested ballot information in languages other than English. We are thrilled with the outcome --flipping 7 seats, including 2 in the Central Valley, and all the seats in Orange County, which used to be considered a Republican stronghold.
For the 2019-2020 election cycle, Flip the West plans to defend the seats we
won in California, expand those victories to other flippable Congressional
seats in California, and replicate our Resistance support model in other Western
states, including Arizona, Colorado, and Montana, with a particular focus on
flipping the U.S. Senate. For the 2018 election cycle we raised over
$600,000 for our work. To fund our expansion into 3 additional states, while
continuing to work in California, we seek to raise $1.8 million. With our
proven track record, extensive partnerships, lean operations, and focus on the
field, we believe that Flip the West is an excellent investment for those who
wish to help take back and heal our country. www.FliptheWest.com
