Position Summary

Top targeted PA Congressional race in Southeastern Pennsylvania is seeking field organizers. Position will last through till Election Day. Applicant must be willing to relocate to Bucks County, Pennsylvania for the duration of the campaign (supporter housing will be provided). The ideal candidate will have at least 1 cycle as an Organizer or related experience, is a self-starter, and enthusiastic about growing professionally in political campaigns. Field Organizers will report to their assigned Regional Field Director and will be responsible for ensuring personal goals are met. The individual will have excellent communication & interpersonal skills and should enjoy working with people.

Responsibilities (included but not limited too)

- Recruiting, managing and training volunteers to participate in direct voter contact activities.

- Meeting and exceeding strict daily & weekly goals including volunteer recruitment dials, volunteer shift recruitment, volunteer shift completion, door knocks & direct voter contact dials.

- Preparing canvass and call materials for volunteer activities.

- Adhering to a strict daily reporting schedule.

Required Qualifications

- At least 1 cycle as an Organizer or related experience.

- Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to successfully relate to voters and volunteers from a wide range of backgrounds.

- Knowledge of VAN preferred but not necessary.

- Willingness to work nights and weekends. 80+ hour weeks.

- Ability to meet deadlines under pressure.

- Ability to work independently and in team settings.

- Familiarity with Google Docs and Microsoft Office tools.

- Must possess laptop, car and valid driver’s license.
