Northern Virginia Democratic Campaign Seeks Field Organizers

Northern Virginia Coordinated State and Local field effort seeking highly organized, energetic individuals to join the team as Field Organizers starting September 1^st

Responsibilities

 

·      Plan and carry out coordinated direct voter contact within an assigned district

·      Work to exceed weekly DVC, 1:1, and volunteer recruitment goals

·      Run an aggressive and targeted vote-by-mail program, plan and deliver trainings in vote-by-mail asking and pitching

·      Volunteer recruitment, training, and management

·      Manage existing staff of interns while also increasing capacity

·      Work as the point of contact between two separate campaigns and a local committee, provide input and shape the field/GOTV planning within the assigned district

 

 

Qualifications

 

·      Must possess strong interpersonal skills with the ability to relate with voters and respectfully act as a spokesperson for the campaign

·      Tireless work ethic, positive outlook and creative approach to problem solving

·      Outgoing, upbeat, and passionate with a good sense of humor

·      Willingness to work long hours, including nights and weekends

·      Reliable access to transportation and a laptop

·      Previous campaign experience preferred but not required
