Job Description: Coaching Content Creator

Campaign Greenhouse provides campaign coaching all the way through Election Day for $250 a month or less.  Until now, small, low-budget, non-targeted and down-ticket campaigns have had very little support available at a price point that makes sense.  Our coaching platform for Democratic and progressive campaigns fixes that by letting coaches help campaigns quickly and easily, and support lots of campaigns at once.

We piloted our coaching program in 2017 and this year we’re rolling out our groundbreaking online platform.  But the platform is only as good as the content -- the materials, templates and guides that coaches can draw on to help campaigns.

We have lots of how-to material indexed and ready to go.  But we need to put that material into our platform in a way that will be most supportive for our small campaigns and local, grassroots candidates.  We’re seeking folks with experience handling small campaigns and solo candidates to help us think about what they need and how to best provide it, and to translate the wisdom of campaign trainings into day-by-day support.

Must-have

• A little or a lot of experience working with small campaigns.
  
• Tech savvy enough to quickly pick up two new online tools.
  

We also like

• People with a commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion and justice
  
• People who can move at campaign speeds
  
• People with a background or interest in cognitive and behavioral science
  
• People who have gone through an online coaching program (fitness/weight loss, language learning, finances, career development)
  
• Folks who are helping small campaigns out of the goodness of their hearts who would like to get paid for that knowledge and expertise
  
• People in DC or Florida
  
• People who speak more than one language or are literate in more than one culture.
  

Logistics

• Work as an independent contractor 5-30 hours a week from now through July.
  
• Start at $35/hour for a try-it-out project, then bump up from there.
  
• Use Slack, Airtable and G Suite.
  
• Work remotely or in our Takoma Park office.
