Analyst
Clarify (Oakland, CA)
Clarify is looking for an analyst to join our growing team in Oakland, CA. The ideal candidate has solid quantitative and qualitative analysis skills as well as a passion for politics and social change. Analysts support account teams with data management, reporting, and analysis, as well as some email and web production work.
We’re enthusiastically looking to create a diverse team, so women and people of color should especially apply.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Produce regular reports on program performance for internal and external review
• Analyze marketing programs’ effectiveness and recommend tactical changes to client teams
• Perform detailed and accurate QA checks
• Train staff and clients as needed
EXPERIENCE
Entry-level candidates must be well-versed in current events and have a demonstrated interest in liberal advocacy and politics. Experience with political campaigns, advocacy organizations, non-profits, and/or marketing is preferred, but not a requirement.
REQUIREMENTS
• Ability to produce clear, actionable analysis on email and marketing campaigns
• Strong written communication skills
• Proficiency with Excel
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work collaboratively in a high-pressure environment, meet deadlines, and switch tasks with agility
Additionally, basic proficiency with any of the following is preferred, but not required:
• Statistical analysis
• SQL
• eCRMs (e.g. Blue State Digital, NGPVAN, Salsa, or Nation Builder)
