An IL Democratic primary campaign for U.S. Senate  is looking for field organizers to manage grassroots outreach now through the election (Election Day is March 15th).


Primary duties include:

  • Volunteer recruitment and training

  • Building and managing volunteer teams

  • Voter outreach

  • Gathering petition signatures at train stations and in other high traffic areas

  • Planning and executing phone banks and door-to-door canvasses

  • Reporting progress to goals accurately and on time


Applicants must:

  • Possess strong communication skills and be comfortable approaching people

  • Have a commitment to Democratic values

  • Be able to work long irregular hours, including nights and weekends

  • Be willing to travel and work throughout the city

  • Be able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment to meet goals and deadlines
