Labor and Economy Account Executive

BerlinRosen, a leading national strategic communications firm, is seeking an Account Executive to join a growing team of campaign communicators, who are at the strategy table and driving communications for groundbreaking labor campaigns, worker movements, thought-leadership programs and national issue advocacy efforts.

So what makes an outstanding Account Executive here? Clear writing that incorporates messaging goals, the ability to understand and analyze media coverage, a tenacious attitude in driving strategic plans and taking advantage of breaking news--all while engaging reporters around our client's stories.

Applicants should possess:

• Minimum 2-4 years direct or related professional experience
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Strong news sense and knowledge of the media
• Experience with media relations
• Attention to detail
• Ability to handle multiple assignments at once, work quickly and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work with a team to meet group objectives
• Degree or experience in a communications-related field
• Familiarity with social media
• Familiarity with and interest in local, state, and national politics and a commitment and passion for progressive politics
• A sense of humor!
