Finance Assistant, Jeffries for Congress

Jeffries for Congress seeks highly organized and dedicated worker to manage Washington, D.C.- based fundraising operation for 2016 Congressional race.

This role is responsible for assisting in all areas of the campaign finance operation including managing candidate call time system and events, researching donor prospects, following up on communication with donors, tracking and following up with pledges and assisting with all administrative tasks.

This role is also responsible for managing and organizing the campaign database, maintaining a research plan to build out the donor base, and keeping campaign records up to date.

The Finance Assistant will also work directly with the finance director to schedule political meetings and appointments and manage interns and volunteers. 

The candidate must be a self-starter who can work independently and pro-actively in a fast-paced environment and is willing to perform a range of duties.


Qualifications:

·      Undergraduate degree preferred

·       Excellent verbal, written and analytical skills, and attention to detail

·       Strong organizational and time management skills.

·       Ability to multitask

·       Experience with NGP or prior campaigns a benefit, but not required

Salary: $2,500/month
