EMILY's List will be hosting a Finance Training on December 6th-9th at the The Westin Alexandria Old Town.

This is a comprehensive seminar for current campaign finance staff and those looking to be placed as fundraisers on the campaigns of pro-choice Democratic women. 

Topics that will be covered in the training include:

• writing a finance plan
• managing a call time program
• researching and targeting donors
• planning events
• crafting messages to donors
• digital and email fundraising
• managing a finance committee
• and hiring and managing a fundraising staff

This is a rigorous program that combines daily classroom-style sessions and nightly simulation exercises that put theories into practice.
