Baltimore Mayoral Campaign seeks Deputy Field Director

A Baltimore Democratic mayoral campaign is seeking a deputy field director to start working immediately for the April 2016 Democratic mayoral primary.

The deputy field director will be responsible for:

• Helping train and supervise a team of field organizers.
• Assisting with the organization of door-to-door canvasses, phone banks, and other voter outreach efforts.
• Representing the campaign at community events.
• Coordinating and building campaign events.
• Serving as a point of contact between the campaign and community.
• Acting as a liaison between the campaign and local elected officials and democratic constituency groups.
• Other duties as assigned.
  

Experience Preferred:

• At least one campaign cycle working as a regional field director.
• Willingness to work odd and irregular hours.
• Access to a car, laptop, and cell phone.
• Positive attitude and a willingness to be part of a team.
• Experience in Democratic campaigns a PLUS.

Salary and Benefits:

• Commensurate with experience.

• Certain expenses reimbursed.

Other: The deputy field director will report to the field director.
