A competitive statewide campaign in North Carolina is looking to hire a
full-time finance director beginning in January 2020. The committee is
seeking hard-working, self-motivated individuals to join
its Raleigh-based team.
Qualifications:
- Minimum two cycles experience of campaign work
- Proficiency with NGP, Microsoft Office, Google Docs, ActBlue
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Self-motivated team player
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Access to reliable transportation (and a valid driver's license)
- Ability to work non-traditional hours as needed
Responsibilities:
- Working with campaign manager to meet fundraising goals
- Managing finance team staff
- Organizing and staffing fundraising events and meetings
- Updating and projecting campaign cash flow
- Prospecting and building new donor relationships
- Overseeing robust call time program
- Drafting fundraising communications
- Assisting with other campaign-related activities as needed
