Position Summary: The Stacey Abrams for Governor campaign is seeking a Volunteer-Intern Coordinator to organize and manage our fast growing campaign volunteers & interns at Campaign Headquarters. The Volunteer-Intern Coordinator will oversee recruitment, assignment and management of interns, coordinate the flow of volunteers, and manage the reception desk at the campaign Headquarters.
This position requires a strong work ethic, ability to focus in a fast-paced environment and someone who thrives on engaging with other people as a key part of their job.
REPORTS TO: Campaign Special Assistant
Location: Atlanta, GA
Term: Immediately through November 2018
Compensation: 3000-3500 monthly salary range based on experience

RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Responsible for greeting all visitors to Campaign HQ and responding to their requests including but not limited to: sharing campaign materials, giving directions to the nearest volunteer field office, sharing campaign materials like yard signs and stickers, accepting packages, generally keeping the public office space neat and organized, and connecting scheduled visitors to the office with their designated meeting.
· Identify and recruit volunteers through campaign and collaborative organizations
● Manage the intern recruitment, screening and assignment process in conjunction with AFG campaign policy
● Train and onboard volunteers and interns as appropriate and required by campaign policy
● Ensure that volunteers and interns are assigned to HQ departments with clear management assignments
● Ensure there are activities for all volunteers and interns each day, and prepare those projects and needs ahead of time
● Track progress and work of volunteers and interns in order to recommend them for higher level projects or promotion if the possibility arises
● Track intern hours and schedule so that recommendations and internship/credit referrals can be completed as needed
● Collaborate with department heads to ensure they have volunteers and interns as requested
● Serve as liaison between Abrams Campaign and Coordinated Campaign volunteer and intern programs to ensure smooth flow of information and projects
● Other duties as assigned
