Research Intern

Senate Majority PAC (SMP) is seeking part-time research interns to work 15-20 hours per week for the 2019 fall semester. SMP is the leading independent organization working to elect Democrats to the Senate. Interns will report to the research team and work closely with the broader SMP team. Responsibilities will include media monitoring, tracking clips and other campaign activity and news, and assisting on other research projects as needed. Interns will be integrated with day-to-day research operations.

Qualifications and skills:

· Base knowledge of political campaigns;

· Excellent writing skills;

· Highly organized;

· Self-motivated;

· Strong attention to detail;

· Experience with research and writing either through journalism, history, or political science classes a plus;

· Must be a full or part-time student.
