The Democratic Senate Campaign Fund, an initiative of the Colorado Democratic Party, is hiring a campaign manager for what will be a closely watched race in rural Colorado. Our State Senate is in a slim, one seat minority, and this race is key to winning it back.

Compensation is DOE and includes supporter housing in a beautiful part of colorful Colorado.

Campaign manager (this is you!) must be:

- Quick: responds efficiently to sudden changes
- Positive: no negative nellies, nicks, or nancies... we're here to win a State Senate majority back
- Creative: thinks of new, different ways to accomplish goals, especially when it comes to field in rural areas
- Forward thinking: an eye for building base and persuading simultaneously
- Inclusive: recognizes the importance of a wide variety of voices, especially those from unlikely allies, new supporters, and regional change makers
- Communicative: can and does insist that the CM, candidate, and caucus keep open, honest, and efficient lines of communication at all times, especially in times of high activity
- Experienced/quick learner: prior campaign experience necessary, especially in mail and earned media, and/or a self-starter who will ask questions and find mentors to teach them the skills they need in a very short period of time

Other rad things about you might be:

- Prior campaign management experience
- Proven track record of getting big things done with limited resources in a small time frame
- Familiarity with the Colorado political landscape and policy issues, ballot measures/stakeholders/major players in Colorado
- Familiarity with rural issues, especially rural jobs, environment, and broadband access
- Able to drop into district immediately

In addition, you will need a car and cell phone.

Please send resumes and answer the following five questions to and...@codemsenate.com

2.) Do you have any political experience in Colorado?
