Looking for an awesome visionary, strategic and experienced project manager who understands the international development advocacy space. See below for details, and feel free to connect me directly to any candidates you would highly recommend.

Engaging Youth in the Fight to End Global Poverty Scoping Project Manager (full-time contract, 6-months)

Rhize is laying the foundation for more strategic and systemic support of catalytic young leaders, forging new paths in the struggle against global poverty. Through a 6-month scoping project, we will be analyzing the current youth advocacy space and making public recommendations for how to better engage and foster youth leadership in the anti-poverty advocacy space.

We are looking for an experienced and  strategic project manager to lead a small team in the implementation of this scoping project.

ABOUT RHIZE

Rhize is an innovative  organization in its second year of operation that works to ensure that social justice movements and the catalytic leaders at their forefront have the sustainable, strong foundation they need to be successful by creating activated, connected communities with clear strategies for change. Rhize is founded on the principles that movement building is the greatest equalizer, and that it is one of the most effective tools of social change, through its emphasis on people’s voices at the help of progress. Rhize use onsite trainings, long term fellowships, and its new virtual network for its international community to carry out its mission.

ABOUT THE PROJECT

As youth are increasingly engaged in global issues, there is a crucial need to harness and deepen their involvement.  Over the course of 6-months, Rhize will scope the space of international youth engagement and leadership development around the world,  taking cues from successful movements around the world. Rhize will examine organizations, movements  and  exceptional leaders at the frontlines of global development as well as identify gaps and best practices in the youth development space. Ultimately, Rhize will recommend a clear niche for actors in this space to build a strategic and systemic approach to their investment and support of current and/or new efforts for fostering youth engagement in global issues.
