SUMMARY:


NextGen Climate is currently seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Data director to join our Iowa team through the 2016 General Election. The ideal candidate must have previous experience in a political or campaign environment, preferably in Iowa. The candidate will have experience managing a voter file and creating detailed reports.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:  

  • Developing a data system for tracking volunteer and voter data
  • Working with multiple data sets to streamline the organizations field efforts
  • Tracking organizational progress and developing comprehensive reports
  • Working with national data team to develop and execute in-state experiments

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • At least two previous campaign cycles in data management role
  • Past experience managing a voter file
  • Ability to develop and maintain a voter database
  • Ability to work with campaign data and paid programs
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Excellent data visualization skills
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Excel and Access
  • The ability to adapt rapidly to evolving priorities and deadlines
  • Driven with a strong work ethic
  • Act with high integrity and character
  • Ability to travel and work flexible hours
