The Sierra Club's My Generation Campaign is looking for a new Senior Campaign Representative to drive our policy and campaign advocacy to electrify the economy and power it with 100% clean energy. The representative will promote policies that advance the electrification of non-electric sector fossil fuel uses (space heating, transportation, off-road engines, and more) as a key initiative of the broader campaign's fight to equitably transition California to 100% clean energy.
The right candidate has a track record of commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, strong writing and communications skills, and a sense of humor. They should have experience with utility and/or climate policy and demonstrated ability to lead regulatory advocacy before agencies like the California Public Utilities Commission. Candidates should be self-motivating and embrace innovation while supporting fellow team members. A significant level of experience working in coalition and executing public campaigns is a must.
About the campaign: The My Generation Campaign is working to equitably power California with 100% clean energy and electrify the economy. We organize communities across the state to demand local clean energy solutions to improve air quality, create jobs, and take action against climate change. Together, we can help build a stronger and more equitable California, in which all people can breathe healthy air, all energy is clean and renewable, and everyone benefits from an equitable economy and a sustainable environment.
