UltraViolet fights sexism and expands women’s rights in politics, government, media, and pop culture. We are a powerful and rapidly growing community of people working in four core issue areas: ending violence against women, making progress toward economic security for women and families, ensuring access to full and affordable health care services, and calling out sexism in politics and media. We are a campaigning organization that puts the voices of women front and center, especially LGBTQ people and women of color.
With more than one million members spanning every state and congressional district, we make our voices heard by empowering women and fighting attacks on women’s rights.
Since our launch in early 2012, our members have taken millions of actions to further the cause of full equality. We successfully campaigned to get Facebook to add the first woman to its board, defeated countless abortion restrictions in Congress and on the state level, forced Netflix to expand benefits for hourly workers, and exposed the NFL’s history of covering up domestic abuse in professional football. We have launched numerous multimedia ad campaigns to elevate conversations about pay equity, women's health, and sexual assault.
We're about equality at a higher frequency.
