“The Director of Finance & Ops will be directly responsible for the org’s financial systems/controls, and overseeing operational functions and developing business plans, with a hands-on approach especially as the organization continues to grow. Ensures that financial statements are produced in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles. Provides oversight for the org's accounting and financial reporting functions. Provides leadership/oversight of the org's operations, including management of 4 offices, as well as IT systems. Provides senior leadership team and Board of Directors with vital information and analysis necessary to ensure financial integrity and operational effectiveness. A results-oriented leader who applies our organizational values and equity and inclusion principles to create effective processes and structures; develops and implements systems that provide for equity and fair treatment; takes initiative and engages in strategic goal-setting; listens well, communicates clearly, and seeks advice and feedback from others; has experience leading teams, facilitates problem-solving, and has top-notch organizational skills and attention to detail.”
