Happy 2024! We hope this first week is off to a great start for you. The word of the week is democracy and we expect this to be the word of the year. Like President Biden, we’re focused on it and hope you are, too. As such we’re busy prepping for the first-of-its-kind program for the progressive community, Powering Blue in 2024: An Expo on Political Services for Democracy. We’ve made some adjustments to the program and schedule that we want to make sure you see. This is a virtual program focusing on political services and on hiring consultants, technology, and products that electoral and advocacy campaigns need to win in 2024.
The biggest news is that the app will work all year - which means the expo will be open all year. The app will open on January 16th for networking and marketing before the programs. The first live panels will take place the following week on Jan 24 & 25. Do you have an idea for a panel? We’re opening our platform up to community ideas. Submit a proposal or suggested idea for a panel here. We’ll have additional special events focused on political services and the consultant community in the app throughout the year and keep the expo open through the 2024 elections.
We’re also making some updates to our political pages and expanding them to build a democracy directory and progressive marketspace, growing GAIN Power networking and marketing resources.
