A Development Manager job is currently available in Washington, DC, through TRAK Services. In this role, you will be working in the development department of this organization to aid in growth and fundraising with additional responsibilities in grant applications. If hired, you can expect an annual salary between $50,000 and $65,000, a possible annual bonus incentive up to 10% and extremely competitive benefits.

 

Development Manager Job Responsibilities:

•             Create, implement and track fundraising efforts and programs to raise money and awareness for the organization

•             Plan budgets, set goals, analyze strategies, identify problems and corrections and research new sources for development efforts

•             Maintain communication with current and prospective donors engage and solicit donations

•             Prepare, submit and track grant proposals and applications


Qualifications:

•             At least 3 – 5 years’ experience working in development or fundraising in a non-profit organization

•             Bachelor’s degree required

•             Extremely high communication and networking skills to build and maintain a vast network of current connections and prospective donors

•             Ability to plan short-term and long term goals for budgets, meetings and goals
