Demand Justice is hiring a Graphic Designer

Position Summary

The Graphic Designer will play a key role in producing paid digital advertisements and other social media content to promote Demand Justice Initiative’s campaign to uphold the character of the federal judiciary and to educate the public on the importance of the federal courts

 

Responsibilities and Tasks 

• Produce visually compelling and on-message digital advertisements, social media graphics, email content and landing pages.
• Help visualize quantitative data about the courts in order to engage an online audience of non-lawyers about the importance of the federal judiciary.
• Participate in team-wide brainstorming about creative strategy, providing new ideas for clever and engaging content.
• Work collaboratively with an outside firm to provide additional capacity on our digital design and production needs.

 

Education, Experience, Knowledge, Skills and Ability   

• 1-2 years in digital marketing 
• Experience in producing social media graphics and digital ads on behalf of political campaigns or advocacy organizations.
• Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and juggle multiple projects at once. 
• Shared commitment to Demand Justice Initiative’s mission.

Valued and Non-Essential Education, Experience, Knowledge, Skills and Ability 

• Experience in digital organizing and online fundraising a major plus.
• Interest in the judicial nominations issue space
