Advance Camp
is a networking and training conference for anyone interested in
political optics and operations for Democratic campaigns on the national
level, in preparation for the exciting 2020 Presidential campaign cycle.
The
goal of Advance Camp is to identify and train a new generation of
dynamic and diverse advance staff in order to elevate the visual
communications capability of all Democratic campaigns in the primary,
then win back the White House with our nominee.
The conference will be held on Friday, March 8th and Saturday, March 9th, 2019 in Washington, DC.
Featuring
panel discussions, breakout groups, and informal networking sessions,
Advance Camp attendees will have the opportunity to learn what role
advance plays in a modern national campaign, basic advance skills
applicable to any race, examples of career paths that advance work can
open doors for, and guidance about how to land a spot on a 2020
campaign's advance staff.
There is no cost to attend, but we are accepting optional contributions
to defray operating costs. Completing the registration process on our
website is required to attend and all registrations must be received by
February 28th.
Additionally,
resumes & contact information submitted as part of the registration
process will optionally be sent to the campaign(s) selected by each
attendee, as part of our 2020 Advance Resume Bank program.
Advance Camp is open to anyone interested in Democratic campaigns -- please feel free to forward this information widely. For more details and to register for Advance Camp, visit www.advancecamp.org
