And we're back!

Hey all,

We are back after being down for a little over three months.  I want to explain what happened to Jobs That Are Left (JTAL).

On June 28th, we noticed JTAL was put into a suspended state by an automated process of Google used for groups that are delivering spam and/or malicious content.  What that means was that the group was on complete lock down.  As admins, we couldn't update the group or send any messages. Even before the lockdown, we did not have the ability to export members from this list so we couldn't communicate in bulk to this group.

We still do not know what caused the group to be locked down.

We used both Google's native tools for appealing a suspension and outreach to Google staff to try to get this fixed. It's unclear to us why this took as long as it did, but it appears that the lock down lifted sometime late yesterday.

We will go back to managing this group like we did before the lock down. Job posts will be moderated and unpaid positions will be rejected.
