
SEEKING RESUMES: Campaign Managers (Multiple)
The Colorado House Majority Project is the campaign committee for the Colorado State House Democratic caucus. HMP works towards securing a Democratic majority in the Colorado State House of Representatives.
HMP is accepting resumes for campaign managers during the 2016 cycle. The House Majority Project offers a competitive salary based on experience.
The Colorado House of Representatives has a Democratic majority and a successful hire will be able to capitalize on our past successes to ensure that we run quality campaigns to retain and expand our majority this cycle. This position requires a dedication to Democratic values and the ability to work well in a stressful and often-changing environment.
Overall Responsibilities
Campaign Managers will be responsible
for each essential component of a winning state legislative campaign.
Responsibilities include:
•
- Developing and executing
a campaign plan.
•
- Setting and achieving fundraising
goals.
•
- Maintaining candidate
schedule, running call time, setting up fundraising events, and directing
fundraising mailings and digital fundraising efforts.
•
- Implementing
full-scale field operations; including planning candidate, volunteer, and paid
door knocks, phone contact program, and GOTV.
•
- Staffing candidate at
events.
•
- Drafting and issuing
press releases and working with local press.
•
- Coordinating paid
communications.
•
- Serving as liaison
between the campaign and House Majority Project.
•
-Other duties as
assigned.
Qualifications
•
- At least one cycle of campaign experience preferred
•
- Access to reliable transportation
•
- Good writing skills and the ability to effectively communicate
our message
•
- Dedication to Democratic success at the state level
•
- Willingness to work long and often irregular hours
