Dear Friend,
As I sat at my desk to draft this email, sipping my peppermint mocha, I looked at the date in the top corner of my screen in disbelief that it’s December.
Somehow, someway, we’ve almost survived the first year of this administration.
To me, that’s peak resilience. And I’m proud of us.
But I would be remiss in not acknowledging that living in survival mode for extended periods of time is both painful and exhausting. So if you can, I urge everyone reading this (myself included) to take some time to follow Debbie Allen’s advice - relax, relate, release.
This week my moment of relaxation was watching the Tennessee election returns. I’m so incredibly proud of everyone who pitched in to help Aftyn Behn’s inspirational campaign. I know she didn’t technically win last night, but a double digit swing is a win in my book!
And that’s the energy we will all have to take into 2026. As more and more people launch their campaigns, they will need YOU to power them. We are here to support you.
