Campaign Manager - New York Metro Area

A progressive Democratic candidate for a in New York City suburb seeks a campaign manager to assist in managing all aspects of the campaign.

The Campaign Manager will report directly to the candidate and work closely with the candidate on all aspects of the campaign, including:

* Helping organize and managing committees to build policy platforms and legislative priorities, community engagement and outreach, and fundraising.

* Staffing the candidate in meetings with community members, community organizations, business leaders, political leaders, donors, and others, and representing the candidate when the candidate is unavailable.

* Developing a community engagement strategy, campaign plan, fundraising plan.

* Building and overseeing implementation of a strong ground effort, including door-knocking, get-out- the-vote efforts, and voter engagement.

* Performing landscape analysis of voter engagement.

* Building and implementing a communications strategy to build brand recognition including a public relations campaign with media contact and follow up. Assisting in the management of social media posts and press releases on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram

* Assisting with administrative functions, including scheduling, bookkeeping, and filing all necessary paperwork.

Qualifications:

A strong desire to work in politics and a campaign environment. Excellent organizational skills and ability to be a team leader. A successful candidate will be an excellent communicator.

(Bilingual/Spanish skills are a plus.)
