Paid Canvasser Job Description:
Delco Victory 2019, the Coordinated Campaign for Delaware County Democrats, is looking for canvassers to help us talk to voters about the November 5th, 2019 municipal elections.
Delaware County has been controlled by the Republican Party since the Civil War. This year, Democrats have a historic opportunity to win a majority on County Council, and elect a Democratic District Attorney and four Democratic Judges to the Court of Common Pleas for the first time in over 150 years.
Are you a self-starter? Do you want to make a difference in your community?
As a paid canvasser, you’ll go door to door and talk to voters about the important issues we are fighting for in Delaware County, PA.
The ideal candidates is:
● Outgoing and a people person
● Can knock on doors for up to 5 hours per day
● Experience knocking on doors and talking to voters is a plus
● Reliable transportation
● A dedication to electing Democrats
● The ability to work at least 3X times per week
● A working smart cell phone is a plus
● Reside in or around Delaware County is a plus
We offer:
● Flexible hours (A minimum of 12 hours/week is required)
● Part-time positions
● Training
Location:Delco Victory’s main office is located in Media, PA. Canvassers will be expected to travel throughout Delaware County, PA.
Compensation: All canvassers will be paid $15/hr. You can earn up to $540/week.
