Field Director for North Texas Congressional Campaign

 

Responsibilities:

 

The Field Director will lead the campaign’s voter targeting and contact goals that include, but are not limited to:

• Ability to write and implement a comprehensive field plan

• Build and manage a field leadership team to execute the campaign’s field plan

• Set, meet and exceed benchmarks for voter contact, volunteer recruitment, grassroots engagement, petitioning and GOTV

• Utilize best practices for data management using the campaign’s voter file software

• Manage the field program budget and logistics in collaboration with senior staff

 

Qualifications:

 

• 2+ cycles of campaign field experience

• Extensive experience effectively managing and training volunteers

• Experience designing, maintaining and improving a goal-oriented accountability structure without compromising staff/volunteer autonomy or innovation

• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, meeting frequent deadlines

• Extensive experience with and ability to train on Votebuilder (VAN)

• Strong communication and organizational skills, showing attention to detail

• Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills; successful at motivating staff/volunteers to meet recruitment and voter contact goals

 

Compensation: Commensurate with experience
