Remote Field Organizer Position - NY State Assembly Race

Judy Griffin for State Assembly is looking for a remote field organizer. Judy flipped the seat in 2018 and is the first Democrat to represent this district.

 

Ideal candidates are highly organized, detailed oriented and a self-starter with proven ability to achieve set goals and perform under pressure.

 

This position reports to the campaign manager. NYC metro candidates preferred. Candidates must live in Eastern or Central time. Work week is will work 5-6 days per week (Monday and/or Tuesday off), 8-9 hours per day.

 

Duties

 

Building and managing volunteer phone banks

Reaching volunteer recruitment goals

Training volunteers one on one and in larger groups

Conducting outreach to constituency groups, democratic groups and other organizations.

 

Skills

 

Experience working or volunteering on political campaigns (preferred but not required).

Enthusiasm for Democratic politics.

Great time management and organizational skills.

Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and written with campaign leadership and volunteers.

Enjoys working with people in the general public.
