Field Organizer
The Nevada Democratic Party is seeking to hire top-quality Field Organizers for a highly competitive battleground Congressional District in Southern Nevada. The job will play a critical role executing the field plan to recruit volunteers and boost the participation of Democrats in the upcoming 2016 election.

Duties include but are not limited to:
Building and managing volunteer canvasses and phone banks
Reaching volunteer recruitment goals
Planning and managing training events
Reaching supporter identification goals
Reaching voter registration goals
Persuading voters to support our Democratic candidate
Identifying volunteers to take on precinct leadership role
Getting out the vote in your area
Support large event logistics, advance and turnout
Training volunteers one on one and in groups
Outreach to key constituency groups, Democratic clubs and organizations
Required skills:
Experience working for or volunteering on political campaigns
Enthusiasm for Democratic politics
Maintaining a positive attitude
Great time management and organization skills
Ability to train and instruct volunteers
Excellent listening skills and ability to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally
Strong organizational, management, and interpersonal skills
Experience in setting and achieving measurable targets, managing teams, and coordinating between multiple stakeholders
Ability to handle multiple priority projects and meet established timelines
Ability to meet strategic goals and work effectively with regional and local leaders
Enjoys working with varied members of the general public
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
