Arizona Non-Profit Hiring Canvassers ASAP

We're hiring canvassers in the Maricopa County area to register voters and help educate community members on the importance of their vote and their voice. Canvassers will work with CHISPA Arizona through the League of Conservation Voters in promoting democracy statewide and making a huge electoral impact.

Canvass experience is a strong resume-builder and will help build the skills necessary for future political, community, or fundraising work.

Responsibilities

· Effectively communicate issues and campaign messaging one-on-one to contacts

· Understand and articulate the broader concepts related to the campaign / issue

· Completely and accurately record data

  Prioritize the collection of voter registrations

Qualities and Abilities Required

· Canvassers must have excellent communication skills

· Canvassers must be skilled at engaging community members in conversation

· Canvassers must work well in a team and be flexible and adaptive to changing conditions

· Canvassers must be able to walk/stand for long periods of time

· Canvassers must be organized and clearly record canvass results
