Frontline Southern California Congressional race is seeking a talented Field Director. The Field Director will execute the campaign’s field strategy and lead a team of organizers. A successful candidate will have at least 2 cycles of field experience on a campaign, including GOTV experience; excellent communication skills ; and expertise with NGP/VAN, including data management and targeting.
Responsibilities
Develop a Field program for both the primary and general election
- Recruit, train and manage a team of organizers
- Plan and implement a large-scale volunteer recruitment effort and a data-driven voter contact effort
Oversee quality control on field program, including data management
Set up daily and weekly reporting structures with organizers and Campaign Manager
Take ownership of key field metrics including volunteer shifts completed, calls, doors knocked, voters registered, and ID’d supporters
Other duties as assigned
Requirements
At least 2 cycles of campaign field experience
Detail-oriented, able to track field program metrics
Deep knowledge of Votebuilder
Able to comprehend messaging and strategy to appropriately train volunteers
Excellent written and communication skills
Able to work long irregular hours
Access to a car and laptop
Strong leadership qualities
