A competitive statewide campaign in North Carolina is looking to hire a
full-time finance assistant beginning in summer 2019. The committee is
seeking hard-working, intelligent, self-motivated individuals to join
its Raleigh-based team.
Qualifications:- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Self-motivated team player
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multitask
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Previous fundraising experience is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of NGP Software preferred but not required
- Access to reliable transportation (and a valid driver's license)
- Ability to work non-traditional hours as needed
Responsibilities:- Upkeep of campaign database – including contributions and donor information
- Research to identify prospective donors
- Preparation for and staffing of candidate call time
- Staff fundraising events and meetings
- Phone calls to past and prospective donors
- Interaction with donors and prospective donors – via email, phone, and in-person
- Assist with drafting fundraising communications
- Assist with recruiting and directing volunteers and intern staff
- Assist with other campaign related activities as needed
